About OSCO

What does OSCO actually do?

OSCO helps established and growing businesses run better behind the scenes.

That can include operational support, improving systems and processes, coordinating projects, supporting teams, overseeing business operations and working alongside the owner at a higher level through Fractional Business Management.

The level of support depends on where the business is now and how much operational ownership is needed.

Is OSCO a Virtual Assistant service?

No.

Although some Operational Support services may include administrative responsibilities, OSCO is positioned beyond traditional VA support.

The focus is on business operations — creating stronger systems, clearer processes, better organisation and more operational capacity.

As the level of support increases, OSCO becomes progressively more involved in improving, overseeing and helping to manage how the business operates.

Who does OSCO work with?

OSCO primarily supports established and growing businesses within the health, beauty and wellness sectors.

This includes aesthetic and skin clinics, health and wellness businesses, beauty businesses, educators, practitioners, clinic owners and other established service-based businesses.

The best fit is usually a business that has already built momentum but now needs more structure, capacity or operational support behind the scenes.

Do you only work with health, beauty and wellness businesses?

These are OSCO’s core sectors, but other established service-based businesses may also be a good fit.

If the business is growing, has operational complexity and needs stronger systems or support, it’s still worth getting in touch.

Working With OSCO

What is the difference between Operational Support, Operations Partner and Fractional Business Manager?

The main difference is the level of involvement and ownership.

Operational Support is for businesses that already know what needs doing and want reliable support delivering it.

Operations Partner is more proactive. OSCO helps identify what needs improving and supports the implementation.

Fractional Business Management is the highest level of support, with OSCO working alongside the owner to help oversee operations, priorities, projects and growth.

You can compare all three packages on the Compare Packages page or use the Find My Package tool.

How do I know which package is right for me?

If you’re unsure, start with the Find My Package tool.

It takes around five minutes and looks at how your business currently operates, how much still relies on you, your systems, team and the level of support you’re looking for.

You’ll receive a recommended package along with an explanation of why it may suit your business.

The final level of support can then be confirmed after a Business Growth Audit.

Can my package change as my business grows?

Yes.

OSCO is designed so that the level of support can evolve alongside the business.

You may begin with Operational Support and later need a more proactive Operations Partner relationship, or eventually move into Fractional Business Management as the business becomes larger or more complex.

Are the packages fixed?

The packages provide the framework for how OSCO works, but the exact scope of support is shaped around the needs of the business.

Following a Business Growth Audit, Alex will recommend the most appropriate level of support and create a tailored proposal based on your priorities and current operations.

Business Operations & Fractional Management

What is business operations support?

Business operations support focuses on the systems, processes, responsibilities and day-to-day structure that keep a business running effectively.

It can include areas such as workflow management, CRM and booking systems, supplier coordination, team communication, project delivery, reporting, process improvement and recurring operational responsibilities. See how we help for more detail.

The aim is to make the business easier to run and less dependent on the owner.

What is a Fractional Business Manager?

A Fractional Business Manager provides experienced operational leadership without the business needing to employ a full-time senior manager.

They work alongside the business owner to help oversee operations, coordinate priorities, support decision-making, manage projects and create greater accountability across the business.

For OSCO clients, this can also include planning for growth, improving operational performance and helping ensure ideas actually move into implementation.

What is the difference between an Operations Partner and a Fractional Business Manager?

An Operations Partner is focused on proactively improving and supporting how the business runs.

A Fractional Business Manager takes a more senior role and becomes more involved in overseeing the business alongside the owner.

The Fractional Business Manager level is generally better suited to established businesses with a growing team, more complex operations or significant plans for growth and expansion.

Can OSCO help improve our existing systems and processes?

Yes.

OSCO can review how your existing systems and workflows are being used, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and help create clearer, more effective ways of working.

The aim is not to introduce new software unnecessarily.

Where possible, OSCO looks at how the business can get more from the systems and processes it already has before adding more complexity.

Can OSCO create SOPs and processes for my business?

Yes.

Process documentation and SOP creation can form part of the support where appropriate.

This can help reduce owner dependency, improve delegation and make it easier for the team to follow consistent processes without everything needing to come back to the owner.

Can OSCO help with projects as well as ongoing operations?

Yes.

Project Management & Implementation is one of the key areas OSCO supports.

This could include new system implementation, service launches, clinic openings or expansion, workflow redesign, supplier onboarding, research and coordinating different people involved in a project.

The focus is on helping ideas move from the to-do list into delivery.

The Business Growth Audit

What is the Business Growth Audit?

The OSCO Business Growth Audit is a 60-minute session designed to take a closer look at what’s happening behind the scenes of your business.

Alex explores areas such as systems, processes, workload, delegation, owner dependency and operational challenges to identify where things could work better.

The audit is currently offered complimentary and is worth £190.

Can anyone book a Business Growth Audit?

No.

Rather than opening the diary to everyone, OSCO uses a short application process first.

Alex personally reviews each application and, if the business appears to be a suitable fit, the applicant is invited to a 60-minute Business Growth Audit.

This helps make sure the session is genuinely useful for both sides.

Does applying guarantee me a Business Growth Audit?

No.

Submitting the application does not automatically guarantee a call.

Every application is reviewed individually and invitations are offered where Alex believes OSCO is likely to be a suitable fit for the business and its requirements.

What happens after the Business Growth Audit?

If ongoing support looks appropriate, Alex can recommend the level of OSCO support most suited to the business and provide a tailored proposal.

There’s no need to choose a package before the audit.
